Rafale selected for Indian AF MMRCA requirement
Indian Government sources in New Delhi confirmed on Jan. 31st that Dassault has been selected as the lowest bidder in the US$11 billion competition to provide 126 medium multi-role combat aircraft (MMRCA) for the Indian Air Force. Although neither the Indian Government or Defence Ministry have made an official statement on the outcome of the MMRCA bidding, Dassault issued a press release confirming its Rafale had been selected for the requirement.
