Ryanair adds more routes to Malta

Low cost airline Ryanair has announced today seven new routes to Malta, including services to London-Stansted and Bournemouth in the U.K, Oslo in Norway, Turin in Italy, Malmo in Sweden, Kaunas in Lithuania and Wroclaw in Poland. The London-Stansted route will fly four flights a week while the others fly twice a week. The new routes will start operating from May 2012.

The new routes were announced today in Malta by chief operating officer M. Cawley. He said that Ryanair will thus operate 28 routes to/from Malta. He said they expected to attract a million passengers to Malta within a year. (Source: timesofmalta.com / maltatoday.com)
