The United States naval vessel USS Whidbey Island (LSD 41) - a Whidbey Island Class Amphibious Dock Landing Ship - has sailed into Valletta Port (the Grand Harbour) this morning at 0920LT on a courtesy visit.USS Whidbey Island is presently berthing starboard alongside at Pinto-4/5 Wharf and she's expected to sail from the Grand Harbour on Monday, January 16th, at 0900LT.
