USAF to get five additional C-17 Globemaster IIIs
The Boeing Co. is being awarded a US$693.4 million firrm-fixed-price USAF contract for a modification to delivery order (DO) 0006 against the basic C-17 production indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for five additional C-17 Globemaster IIIs. Basic DO 0006 was awarded on May 13th, 2011 for the first five aircraft of the FY10 Air Force C-17 requirement. Work is expected to be completed by March 20, 2013.
