Royal Fleet Auxiliary RFA Mounts Bay in Valletta Port

The Royal Fleet Auxiliary amphibious dock landing ship RFA Mounts Bay (L 3008) - Bay class - has sailed into Valletta Port (the Grand Harbour) this afternoon on a five-day informal visit.

RFA Mounts Bay is presently in the Mediterranean as part of Royal Navy's Cougar-12 deployment, together with HMS Illustrious, HMS Bulwark, HMS Northumberland, HMS Montrose and MV Hartland Point.

The British dock landing ship is presently berthing alongside at Boiler wharf, and she's expected to sail from Malta on Friday, November 23th, at 1045LT.
