A TNT cargo plane was forced to make an emergency landing at Malta International Airport this morning, airport officials confirmed. The Boeing 737 was forced into the emergency manoeuvre due to nose-gear problem.
"At 1025lt, a freighter aircraft, with flight number 3V-857, travelling from Tunis to Malta declared a full emergency," an M.I.A. spokeswoman told "Malta IAP’s Fire and Rescue team were dispatched immediately and the aircraft, with two crew on board, landed safely at 1044lt."
